I’ve been thinking a lot about what “sexy” means in pop culture, and that led me to drawing Lana Kane from Archer, since that character is sexy as hell — likely because the woman who voices her, Aisha Tyler, is herself tremendously sexy (and smart and funny and geeky and tall and and and). I purposefully tried to go for something scratchier here, and I’m not entirely sure how much I like the results, but I didn’t want to spend too much time fussing over it. I think it was healthy for me to draw something where I didn’t fiddle over every little line, even so.
