I’m putting this here mainly for my own benefit - every time I see this image, it strikes a chord within me of “YES THAT IS WHAT I WANT MY ART TO LOOK LIKE YES.” There’s something about the few strong outlines combined with the subtle gradations suggesting form, the bold colors and the painted detail, the sense of graphic design, that is very nearly exactly what I want to do - yet I seem to forget that most of the time I sit down at the computer to draw/paint. Maybe if I put it here, I’ll remember it if I get time to do art this weekend.
His work remind me an awful lot of the work of Adam Hughes, another artist I forget to
